The original “sample sale boutique”, TREAT opened in July 2007, as the very first store of its kind in the Washington DC area, offering an edited selection of contemporary apparel at discounted prices. TREAT brought savvy shoppers a permanent sample sale in a chic, boutique setting; a place to find beautiful designer clothes at affordable prices, without having to search through racks of leftovers at big-box discount stores or outlet malls, or having to wait for special sale events, only to battle long lines and frenzied crowds.
Over the years, TREAT has continued to evolve and gain popularity as a source for affordable style. TREAT was named Best Women’s Boutique by readers of Washington Post, and editors at Lucky, Northern Virginia Magazine, DC Scout and Washingtonian have listed TREAT among their favorites.
TREAT launched an e-commerce site in 2010, and added several affordable indie labels from the US and across the globe to its offerings, as well as a unique selection of gifts, cards, handbags, shoes, accessories and more. Our buyers also continue to scout overstock inventory, end of season merchandise and discontinued items from designers and retail stores and hand pick the best pieces.
In 2012, TREAT relocated to northern California, but continues to offer affordable designer style to customers from all over the country through our online boutique.
